Who is Jay Flow?

Jay Flow is an up and coming artist from Hyattsville, Maryland. He began listening to hip hop and rap music when he was thirteen years old then began to write songs at sixteen. Blessed by God and influenced by family and friends, he continues to strive for excellence. His uncle Awthentik, who also is a local independent artist, inspires him to make music. His favorite artists are Drake, Joey Badass, Nipsey Hussle, Euroz, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and YG. Listening to these artists daily has helped him progress with his craft.

His first project was titled "On My Way 2 Stardom" which released on DatPiff February 13th, 2013. This project served as Jay Flow's introduction to the music industry for people that did not know about him. His 2nd project was titled “Driven to Win” which released on Soundcloud in August of 2013. The mindset of this project displayed more lyricism and storytelling. His 3rd project was titled “Grind Hard Dream Big“  and it released on Spinrilla May 2, 2014. This third project was very motivational and provided more information about where he grew up and what Jay Flow went through went he was younger. His intentions were to motivate everyone who listens. His most recent project is titled “Mr.301” and was released March 9, 2015 on Spinrilla. Mr. 301 displays his versatility and has a variety of beats from trap to conscious in which he provides more lyricism, storytelling and punchlines with complete songs.

Jay Flow's overall musical purpose is to guide the youth and be a voice for the voiceless. The more music he creates, the more fun he has and is blessed to do shows and perform in front of people whenever he gets a chance. The harder you grind the bigger you dream.

Jay Flow would like to send shoutouts to all of his supporters that have been supporting him since day one. There are so many names, but for everyone who has been rocking and supporting him just know you are not forgotten.
